Muradiye Selvi is a Consultant and Principal Psychologist with over 30 years of experience. Over the years she has continued to develop her skills in psychology and pursued interest in the areas of cross-cultural counselling, counselling victims of crime and trauma, counselling traffic accident victims, rehabilitation of injured workers, and chronic depression in migrant/ethnic women.

She is a trained relationship, marriage and family educator and has more recently been working with families and youth in the problem areas of drug and alcohol abuse and mental health.

She works extensively with adults, youth, adolescents, couples and families and along with Cognitive – Behavioural strategies, uses a variety of therapeutic modalities as she strives to meet the individual needs of her patients.

Muradiye is a non-judgmental, ethical, supportive and sensitive therapist who has gained the respect of her colleagues and patients and remains an invaluable asset to the community.

She is also an avid volunteer within the Turkish Community as a regular speaker on community ethnic radios and television and provides seminars, lectures and workshops on psychological issues with-in the Community.

She currently runs a dynamic and comprehensive clinical private practice as the principal senior psychologist providing extensive psychological services and Total Psychological Care to members of our culturally and linguistically diverse community.
